@Tesco Dear Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury's, Lid, Aldi, Waitrose, Morrisons, and You are heading towards almost exclusively self-check out You can either trust me to do self-checkout, or you can put your cashiers back in place like it used to be.

@Tesco What was she gonna tell the police she got her colleague to call?? “Thanks for coming officer. This lady appears to have paid for her shopping and has refused to let me snatch her phone from her hand”

@Tesco There’s a lot of this going on in Tesco at the moment. A sudden change in attitude to people using self-checkout. If we can’t be trusted then they need to start paying people to man the tills….

@Tesco This is disgusting and the reason I will never ever use these things. It’s embarrassing doing that to someone who has quite clearly paid. @Tesco this employee should be dismissed for assaulting customers too

Once I’ve paid for the items I shop for, the contract is complete and the items belong to me. I do not consent to you going through what is now my property. If you suspect me of theft then you will have to call the police and have a good reason to do so. I will only allow a police officer to touch my property. That means you either have to call the police or let me move on with my life with the legally bought items. You’d better be sure because if you keep calling the police just because you feel like rifling through legitimate customers shopping, the police will no doubt stop responding. Unfortunately you will end up with having to bring back proper checkouts with staff as you don’t trust your customers. You can’t have it both ways.

Similar happened to me and my friend last weekend we used trolley self checkout TESCO lady is next to us holding a bags for customers she looking at us while we scanning My friend scan Clubcard and paid by card. We pack everything to trolley and we leaving THE SAME LADY STOP US SAYING WE DIDN’T PAY we show her receipt and she said they told her we looks and behaved suspicious she checked receipt and said all ok But that was weird because she said we looked suspicious and we didn’t paid while she was looking at us ALL THE TIME !!!!
