Security forces have eliminated 32 India-backed terrorists during operations conducted in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Balochistan over the last 24 hours, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Wednesday. In a statement, the military's media wing said that comprehensive joint operations were being carried out in different parts of KP and Balochistan to weed out Fitna al-Khawarij and Fitna al-Hindustan terrorists and their facilitators. At 0500 today in the AOR of Frontier Corps Balochistan (North), aerial surveillance picked up indication of a large group of Fitna al-Khawarij/TTP terrorists. Counterterrorism teams were dispatched with UAV combat air support, successfully eliminating TWENTY FIVE enemy terrorist combatants. No casualties of own troops were reported. The operation is ongoing in Zhob, Balochistan, and a further 8-10 terrorists of the same infiltrating Tashkeel have been trapped with no escape, and are being engaged.
