Lots of people in the comments got it in the last 4 years or so. I wonder how many of them had the covid vaccine.. we know.

@CovidSolidarit1 Covid mate. Shingles is a well recognised complication for anyone who’s had Covid, so yes, shingles at 27, as Covid messes with your immune system & allows other viruses to do their damage then.

Only if you take that jab.😉Steer clear of doctors if you’re trying to stay healthy.

SARS2 reactivates dormant viruses, hence so many people nowadays have shingles.

You were vaccinated, weren’t you?

It is shown in the Covid jab medical trials that shingles is a side effect. So many people I know got shingles not long after having the jabs.

Got them at 38 and still have nerve damage almost two years later. It’s miiiiiserable. Get well soon!!

I don't belive there's a medication that can make it go away super fast, but a doctor can prescribe antivirals and pain medication to help it clear up as quick as possible. Antivirals are best started within 72 hours of the rash appearing

It's the convaids jabs 😐 Hopefully you didn't take too many boosters. Steer clear of all future flu & CV jabs and you might just be ok 🫤

Ive never had it just like i never got convid.

For those telling him to get the vaccine IT IS TOO LATE, HE HAS SHINGLES. Vaccines are poison to "prevent" whatever. The civid vax was supposed to prevent you from getting covid yet most of those who got covid had the experimental vax.

Yeah, it sucks. I got it from the Moderna vaccine.

@CovidSolidarit1 Covid infections reactivate latent herpes virus from childhood chicken pox. Result: shingles.

Yes and I was rushed to hospital with suspected Meningitis, I've never been so I'll in my life! Apparently it was due to stress and lack of sleep cos I was working nights surviving on 4 hours sleep a day

That’ll be the mRNA vaccine….

I had them a few weeks ago. If you've had Chicken Pox at some point they are always lay dormant amd can rise up as Shingles.

They started making Shingles vaccines a profit for a GP. About 4 years back hubby noticed this vaccine was being quietly added to the GP life threatening drugs lists. The QOF list. Not classed as life threatening Shingles. But they quietly did. @deb

Yes painful , had it on lower back

I had a stroke 4 years ago and when I woke up in the hospital I had shingles! Of course they panicked and put me in isolation and all the staff wore moon suits.

Get on the specific meds immediately. Bed rest. There are foods that exacerbate the symptoms to avoid.

I've had them 3x in my life. Yes they are very painful. If you took the jab, look into detoxing protocols to keep this from becoming a recurring issue.

I caught shingles 4 years ago, up the side of my face and inner ear. I 'm now deaf in that ear but worse than that it has damaged some nerves in my head and my balance is impaired. I can't drive anymore, and walk unsteadily.

Yes, on my inner thigh when I was 14, and in 2024 on my scalp & face - all over my eye. 2 years on and I still get pain and tingling on my right side of my face.

Really sorry to hear this - hope you will be better soon. My doctor has offered me the shingles vaccination. I keep putting it off, as I’m in a complete quandary over this. But everyone says I should have it as shingles can be quite debilitating. Don’t know what to do.

I describe the pain as dipping a cactus in hot sauce and using it as a loofah.

Get the vaccination. After a couple people I know got it and sufffered through it..I went and got mine. Two shot and you’re good.

Awful. Monolaurin (acid derived from coconuts) very helpful. OTC.

It’s one of the side effects of the v s 😳

Side affected of a flu/covid vax.

Absolutely get some tablets RIGHT NOW from the Doctor. They're called Aciclovir, and you need to start them within 3 days of developing Shingles. Hope you feel better soon Caleb x

Ivermectin paste 😉

I have it right now. Week 3. All rash is gone but the raw nerve pain and itch is excruciating. Pregabalin (for the nerves). Lidocaine helps.

Yep, in my back. Absolutely awful. You can't get away from it. It's in the nerves, not the muscles, or tendons, blood or anything else. It's in the nerves. Nothing helps it. Unless your lucky enough to get to the gp in time for antibiotics, but that's highly unlikely. Good luck

Most of the people I know who have had shingles were not old! Usually stress related, it affected my boss who was in his 30's. His pain was was terrible. He lifted his shirt and showed me his back - just awful. You can get innoculations against this, that at least reduce the effects.
