HD2 is incredibly cinematic when things get intense, very few games make gameplay look better than pre-rendered cutscenes. Only Titanfall 2 and Ori and the Will of the Wisps game me that feeling as well.

The best part... it all feels organically

Insane how cinematic this game can be.

Every old cod campaign be like: "RAMIREZ, GET ON THE TURRET AND OPEN FIRE ON THOSE ENEMIES!" Shoots at enemies for two seconds. Cutscene of chopper crashing in front of you and knocking you out for a few seconds plays, then you escape with mere seconds left.

some of the events that take place in this game are so crazy that you could swear it was a scripted COD sequence event, but it happens in real-time which is insane

This is why Helldivers is one of the best games ever
