Any other small business owners struggling with finding dependable workers? We are 3 hours from home outside our normal territory trying to expand. Had 3 local workers yesterday. Today they just didn’t show back up. Now I’m scrambling. Anyone else deal with this?

Thank you to the workers of Unite Here Local 2 and the Marriott for coming together to make a deal today, offering the latest proof that our great city is on its way back. I’m hopeful this deal lays the groundwork for quick resolutions at the other two hotels still impacted by the strike. This historic resolution will positively impact not only our economy, but also our working families, our hospitality industry, and all San Franciscans. Business and labor stand united in ensuring our best days are yet to come. I commend the parties for working together to bring our workers back.

Tourists aren't coming; costs keep climbing; and workers now need three or four jobs to survive. This is Trump's economy. These are the businesses that built and make Colorado. He has made it clear that non-performance, corruption, and indiscipline will no longer be tolerated. The Minister has vowed to deal decisively with any public servant found engaging in malpractice, bribery, ghost workers, or failing to deliver services to the people. “All local government officials and staff must serve with integrity, accountability, and dedication. I went back today with back up and found him. This is a dog who has had the life sucked out of him by ticks and illness. He was living on a building site that just finished. The workers left so he was alone and hungry. He had nothing (3/7)
