"The Democratic Party's actions had left many U.S. citizens feeling humiliated. Signs of a Trump victory were proclaimed well before Biden withdrew from the race. The voters had had enough." 📝 @KarinaLMariani

@ggreenwald How does any person on US soil have a first amendment right but not a second amendment right?

@ggreenwald A student visa holder who has committed crime, been kicked out of school, is subversive to American values should be considered for deportation.

Exactly. The 1A is a functional prohibition against any speech-restricting activity by Congress. It has no carve-outs allowing attacks against foreign citizens in the US or foreigners posting statements from outside the US. The phrase "Congress shall make no law" seems lost on most members of Congress, and no Pres has such authority to silence anyone, of course.

@ggreenwald I have noticed the vast majority of those left of center voting concern over Israel’s demolition of Gaza don’t care at all at the 15-20 times more avoidable death in Ukraine. Why is that? Because the dead in Ukraine are white?

@ggreenwald Don't disagree, but let's start the conversation with a factual definition of protest.

@ggreenwald I would venture to say terms of the visa would have restrictions.

@ggreenwald Can anyone please explain to me how it is in the best interests of We The People to allow non-citizens (other than credentialed diplomats) to engage in political activity inside the US? I don't get it.

@ggreenwald If they committed a crime or they're here illegally then i'm ok with them being deported. I'm not ok with people (citizens) being criminalized over words that are protected by the first amendment.

@ggreenwald Yes I was thinking of this. Isn't that against the very spirit of their 1st code?
