Decompartmentalise. Notebook, write each thing down, then why it’s a concern, what you can do to fix it, how long will it take, then go for a walk and later on the day assign them a number in a list. Once written down your unconscious will ease the anxiety, as written down means no longer necessary to hold on to them as a memory.

Go running.

I have this problem too. It's usually because I get stuck in a mental loop deciding on what is the most important thing to do first. Once I realize I'm stuck I drop it all and just start working on whatever is closest to me at that moment. Better something gets done than nothing!

Never forget the first time I heard this phrase but it works. How do you eat and elephant? One bite at a time.

Just let it go?

sounds like you should see a psychiatrist, professional help is typically quite effective at treating psychological distress

I have a remedy, but I don’t think you would do it

Practice Wabi Sabi. Your life is beautifully imperfect in all aspects and find a way to love old things a new way.

Chill for a bit if its not argent push it back a little bit and if it is, just do the argent important stuff first and do the other less argent stuff later. Then for the time being go for a walk, watch a show, sleep, relax in a way that makes you feel safe and comfortable for now

Sex 😎👍🏼👍🏼

You're cute. I would love to go for coffee and be awkward, then laugh about it. Would you?

sleep , like what u always do

Any chance you have OnlyCode? Where we watch you Code all day?

Top down method. Tackle small things first. Things you can get down easily, take the dopamine boost to tackle something else.

I cannot relate to the issue you're having. However, let me tell you about how I rid myslef of the anxiety I had speaking infront of a crowd. Back in 8th grade, I had to presemt some thing for school work. And I was a heavy introvert. I struggled.

Turn electronics off, go for a walk. Remember, things that seem important really aren't. Short of your life being on the line, everything has a solution. So order your favorite food, catch up on a series you like, call a friend, and for the rest of the day, just pamper yourself. I have undiagnosed ADHD, it happens to me too, and the best way is to just say: I'm done for today. Tomorrow I'll start early and fight that dragon. Today, I'm recharging.

For me, it's situational. If it's a mental block on a script or on music production; I render the audio of what exists, - get on my bike and go for a ride, and listen to the project repeatedly repeatedly until I hear the thing that is bothering me. (My transition between talking about Pyrrha and Cinder in this video: was written exactly this way.) then I come back to it, and usually the problem passes. Exercise is almost always the answer in my experience. Even with fighting game combos. Hilariously I literally though of the solution to my Bardock Solo ToD problem for my Layman's Lab series while sparring at boxing. Get more exercise people, most of your problems will go away!

Yes. I’ve been like that for a week now. It’s not going away.

I go outside to decompress and find some bar I can do dancing at

pray like hell :D that always works for me

Glass half full/empty perspective exercise 🤔 Example: You're on step 11 of 20; Instead of focusing too much on the 10 things you still need to do, take a moment to appreciate the 10 things you've already accomplished. 😌

Breathe. Just breathe.

Make a list of stuff to do the next day before you go to sleep. Put 5 ish things that are easy. Make coffee, Make th bed, eat breakfast etc.. Doesn't matter what they are tbh, just 5 things you normally would do. This tricks my brian and gets me in a groove to do shit

If in Japan, unfrozen and destress: take a break, leave computer, go out with cool friend, do fun usual things, simple things, eat nice foods and deserts, onsen, see some natures, watch cinema, do exercise, go on holiday,

There’s some good recs on the replies already. I’m a fan of exercise/touch grass, sleep, eat well, music— Practically, it can help to make list and prioritize, get quick wins, focus on the “right things”. Ruminating can make these fixes difficult—it certainly can for me 🙃

Good ol’ executive dysfunction. I do a few little things or walk around a bit.

I enjoy listening to music, podcasts and watching YouTube Reactions of music/Tv/film. If you enjoy your food, check out @OffMenuOfficial: Where two comedians host a special guest as they chat through their dream meal. Hope you get unfrozen, it’s okay to take a break. Promise

go outside, walk (it is hard for me, too)

Zoom in... find a corner / space you're not overwhelmed by and start there. When done with shift your focus till you're able to zoom out and see your progress.

This - exactly this.

Pick something small you can do, like going for a walk; start by putting on your shoes. This will cause your brain to want to carry you forward and make you more likely to actually go for that walk.

I have one. I flip a mental switch, I forget about all that and just do something else, I don't care. I just forget about everything for a while and then when my shoulders are relaxed I lock in again.

No?!
