Anya Taylor-Joy had a nosebleed written into the script, only for it to actually happen on set while filming Emma (2020). The director added it because she gets frequent nosebleeds. They planned to pause for fake blood, then, Anya happened.

While they were waiting for roadside assistance, a police officer pulled over to check on them, but she said they decided not to stop and kept filming. She recalled seeing the officer pull up and telling her partner to keep going because she thought they still had time before he reached the vehicle. She added that the officer never seemed to realize what was happening, as they managed to play it off without fully exposing themselves. Looking back, she described the experience as one of her most memorable scenes and even said she still has the video of it.
