This in no way shape or form is a “issue“. Honeybees are harmless and an absolute necessity to maintain our food sources. This person needs to just walk away and let nature be. No pun intended.

I am actually worried about the bees because I haven’t seen many this year

Getting a drink My two hives are busier this year than the last 2-3 years. 🐝 nice to the 🐝

No rain! They're looking for water?

Honeybees. These are very healthy to see, and harmless. I get a ton in my mind yard - flowers.

These are honey bees not yellow jackets a huge difference. Please protect at all costs.

Bees are disappearing just leave them alone. When I took out a bees nest, I got marauded by Japanese beetles. Bees will protect you from Japanese Beatles—that eat all of your flower petals.

They’re just thirsty is all — and them being in your back yard is not a problem. They are dying off in large numbers due to overuse of herbicides and pesticides. Rex should be grateful that the bees feel safe in his backyard.

Genesee county is in a drought…the bees need water 💦

I would not call it an issue. I call it a blessing, at least with the honey bees. I have an extremely high-yield garden, and my little garden produces a much larger yield than all the very large gardens near me, using absolutely no fertilizer. Why? I plant various types of flowers in my garden to attract the bees. The honey bee is a blessing, a very good thing to have around. 🐝

Honey Bees! Happy to have them, welcome in my yard anytime! They are beautiful!

Actually they are thirsty and just getting a drink. Normal behavior

Very dry out there. I'm thinking about starting a hobby apiary. A fair amount of resource provided at U of M and probably State. A terracotta drip pan with the bellow configuration can help them and your garden.

The only problem that I'm having is that I've only seen 3 all summer. 😢

We don't consider them an issue. We put some pretty rocks in our bird bath so they don't drown. Bees are in serious trouble and need all the help they can get. They don't bother us and we do all we can to help them.

If the bees disappear so will we eventually!

thats not an issue they're thirsty leave them alone they won't bother you.

When it got warm last winter/early spring the neighbors hives became active and looking for a food source. My bird feeding stations with cracked corn were very popular. Mixed up a sugar water solution for them also Now they visit bird bath/fountain. Love it.

Good problem to have

All good this year Dave.

they sure seem thirsty:)

What the issue? They just need a water source. Those are honey bees so there is likely a hive within a mile or two. Completely harmless if you leave them alone. Chlorine does attract bees as well fyi

I stumbled on 2 different ground yellow jacket hives in two days. Got stung once in the forearm

That’s a good sign. We need them

Good to see though

Nice bee waterer!

Seeing bees are a good thing

Try in ground hornet nests

Happens every year. When the queen leaves to migrate. The entire nest follows. Unfortunately the workers out collecting come back to an empty nest. They’re now looking for a safe place to hunker down for the winter.

Its a late summer thing each year

No but this thing was next to my house earlier 😅 I'd rather have weird bees

I’ve got a fat honey bee nest in the garage behind sheets of plywood. All day long workers buzzing in and out, we live a cohesive life. Waiting until late October/November to check it out.

Bees go to water. I don't know if they drink it or cool themselves but gardeners n birders put out dishes of water with rocks in the water just for the bees. I have one by my bird feeder lol.

It’s not an issue, dumbasses. Leave them alone

No problem with bees, its wasps I hate.
