Anyone else notice the clock operators going God mode during the last moments of the CyHawk game? Well, @DarienPorter10 thanks the clock operators for the stat pad.

@DarienPorter10 As someone who has operated game clocks many times, I have to defend a bit by saying that the clock will say 5 seconds but that could mean anything from 5.00 seconds through 5.99 seconds - so nearly a full second could happen before the number changes after being started

@DarienPorter10 Yep that’s fair, but I think anyone that watches football would agree that a 54-yard field goal should take off more time than just 3 seconds off the game clock…

@DarienPorter10 The graphic is not the official clock. Game clock in stadium goes to 08 while graphic is still at 09

@DarienPorter10 A fg from that distance should take 4-5 seconds off the clock.

@DarienPorter10 I noticed the second or so after kickoff but not on the FG. WOW, that's impressive home field clock work. Maybe they could get out the hourglass ⌛️ for the last few seconds next time.

@DarienPorter10 I'm far more concerned with us almost allowing them to return the ensuing kickoff into field goal range

@DarienPorter10 And the clock showed 38 seconds at end before Iowa punted and the referee told them it should be at 40 seconds. Definitely some clock manipulation.

@DarienPorter10 I just noticed they switched from FAST clock on the spike, so SLOOOW clock on the FG and kick return. WOW The clock started before the spike snap and took two whole seconds.

@DarienPorter10 Ya that 1 sec was bullsheet, hopefully did not fk over ISU with some insane hail Mary catch in the end zone

@DarienPorter10 Helped Cade become the lowest PFF rated player to participate in the game
