That was peak fancy at my house in the 80’s 😂

Aldi has a knock off one now.

I loved this. My grams always had one in her freezer. A depression kid, she always had too much of every kind of food in her house. But, being a kid, it seemed great, like a personal restaurant.☺️ I miss her a ridiculous amount. (Not bc of food tho.)

LIDL has them now. Remind me to get a few when you come to NY.

I’m adding it to the list!!

LMK which airport I’m picking you up at.

Aww, that’s a friend!! I never ask for a pickup, it’s too easy to grab a cab or the subway. But, I won’t turn one down! 🤔 Ur prob closer to Kennedy? I’ve always used LaGuardia, but only cuz I’ve always stayed in Manhattan.

Hour and half away from both. Islip is closest.

With a cup of International Delight coffee

FUCK YES!!!

They were the best.

Yes I do. I would break out this fancy 💩 when I had a real lady over. That and the

Usually served straight after this. Our parents were obsessed with loaf shaped food 🤣🤣🤣

No but I didn't grow up in The Plaza Hotel, Mr Fancy.

Neither did I. Came to America with $60 in my pocket at the age of 16 in 1990. All alone.

Is any part of this true?

All of it.

1. From where? 2. Did you speak English fluently at 16? 3. Was it $60.00 even or did you round?

India. Came here at the age of 16 by myself. With $60 in my pocket.

That is astonishing. I am very sorry if it was difficult and/or painful. If It wasn't, good. If it was, I hope it's better now. And I hope you have $65 dollars in your pocket now.

My sons have been asked to make sure I have $61 in my pocket when I’m cremated. I want to leave $1 ahead. Yes it was difficult but that’s what made me who I am today. And there’s a lot more than $65 in there now. 😊

I remember seeing this commercial when I was 5 and thinking, “when in 6, I’m going to eat this”. I turned 6 and didn’t get it. So I pushed the goal post to 7. Then 8, and so on. I never fulfilled that ice cream dream

I still buy these ❤️

Where? I’ve seen the knock off ones at LIDL.

In Australia ...

Like every 'famous' American Ice Cream brand @unileverusa @Unilever owns, it's still around (like Breyer's), and reformulated into a 'dairy dessert' that is full of "Müll" (that's Viennese for 'crap').👇📷#WhatTheyDidToGoodHumorIsNotFunny📷 🐮

We still got them in Mexico for around $6 USD

They are still here 🤗

That was the height of fanciness. Never had the pleasure unfortunately. And never will. I have had Polanar All Fruit and Grey Poupon though... so 2 out of 3 ain't bad 😂

I never noticed they were eating tiramisu with a chowder soup spoon...how droll.

Sure, back when it was common to have a waiter come to your table and light things on fire.

I wanted to try one so bad

We still have them in the UK. Sometimes they do limited time flavours, like Neapolitan, etc.

Is it still available ?

LIDL has something similar

Now they just sell 'em at Costco. 😅

You can still get em at Dollar General stores if they have a freezer

If someone served you viennetta at their house, they were rich.

Viennetta, After Eights and Fererro Rocher were special when I was a kid lol

I remember being disappointed in it. I think I preferred this ice cream cake roll

Shiiidddd having this and Grey Poupon on your house.... yeah that's how you know you made it bwuahahhaha

this commercial is so sexy 😳

How about this gem?!

What is it? Looks yummy!

Vienetta.

Thx

@EastEndJoe Yum! Thanks for excellent description. Don't know how I ever missed something like that!

Damn they still cheap. Love the mint one

I remember every family that had one wouldn’t let the kids touch it because it was “fancy”

I used to love that ice cream cake joint. I think they stopped making them. I thought they were delicious.😋

Now they call it Tiramisu

My Granny bought that once & I loved it so she never bought it again. She was a sick person, rest her evil soul.
