I’m not bothered about Santos even with Baleba’s arrival. He offers something different from anyone else. I expect him in the starting 11 most of the times.

Fuming that people are lumping him in with the poor performance of most of the team. He was good yesterday.

Hull blocked central progression very well. That 4 in the midfield did their job diligently. Carrick got outsmarted.

This exactly the type of performance you want from a DM 🤌. He was paired with a slow AF Youri, him bring slow as well, they got exposed on the physical from. Pair him with Baleba/Kobbie and see magic. Youri might be our go-to player to close out games 🤔

The problem yesterday was not the midfield which Hull kept by passing. It was our wings and box defending

Tielemans is the weaklink man plays like a 50year old

Unpopular opinion, it was Tielemans who made him look bad vs Hull, I want to see his partnership with Mainoo vs Ipswich. Tielemans looked not 100% ready yet, need more works. Santos not as outstanding as he did in preseason, kinda nervous in some moments, but overall acceptable

Santos is solid

Santos was decent tbf, the players playing forward didn't move into good positions for Santos to pass forward. Hull City marked the United players very well too.

Told people he had a really good game..Tielemans not being up to speed meant he had to cover more ground

He cooked VERY low-key. He will unlock A LOT for us once people realise they can rely on him finding them in the tightest forward spaces.

I need to see him and mainoo play together

Same problem against Ac Milan He’s too right minded which he’s supposed to be central !! Then with Tielemans on the pitch they both fighting to occupy d the Rcm and as long as they play together Shaw will always be a bad player they abandoned d left side too much !!!!!!

Give him time he's a decent player

I'd love to see Santos and Mainoo in the middle of the pack together with Bruno ahead of them.

Our defenders don’t play with much confidence on the ball. There’s always so much space where they could push up into when they are in possession of the ball but they’re afraid to make a mistake. Is it because of their lack of pace ?

He wasn’t terrible but he hasn’t understood United DNA ball yet. Passing forward is all good and fine but when the opposition are in their rest defense shape the ball just gets returned to him or the defenders. What he has to do is self induce a press on himself that way

He is good with ball progression specifically in tight spaces, its all on manager to nurture this squad and build a way to make these players play with the full flow.

Martinez would also be suitable for this role
