Anyone else think that Caine's redemption felt too quick? I mean sure as the crew said, it would take a long time for them to forgive Caine but after everything that they did to them here!? I love Caine's redemption but it felt rushed for me #tadc #pomni #caine #spoiler

(0- 0) It wasn’t rushed, it was the “Start” of him being redeemed. Zooble said it’s gonna take time for them to actually forgive him for the crap he’s done, and we see this in the end credits. It was more of a beginning for a new Caine than a redemption arc.
Tho I did like solo Caine scenes where he's learning in the void. That could have been shortened a bit so they coulda add the time to him talking to the group. Would have felt more balanced
Am I the only one that things ep. 8 was the last episode of Gammigo? And it’s intresting to see from Gammigo’s first apperance with Pomni being friends to his last apperance killing Pomni! And who made corrupted Gammigo? Who ever made him was a artist! seriously just look at he’s teath! That’s art!
It doesn’t bother me as much after my rewatch recently, but it really does feel like there could’ve been at least one more episode somewhere in the final three episodes.
That asshole forced them to go on his adventures, and when they called him out, he made them experience their worst fears, traumas, and insecurities. His toothy ass did not deserve their forgiveness so quickly. I was so pissed that he got redeemed and not Jax. Fuck TADC, man.
Ragatha was having a conv with him in ep 9 as if he didn’t just make her experience and remember what her abusive mom did to her 😭✌️ Like no I’m not forgiving you Caine
From our perspective a bit, but considering an untold amount of time passed for the crew while Cain was "gone". All the time spent learning how to conjure to get the Circus back to a "manageable" condition, plus wrangling in Jax. 1/2

EXTREMELY rushed. This man put them on the torture nexxus and then in the next episode at the end we see all of them being chill like nahhhh.
It really did. Especially since Zooble of all people was the first to forgive him.
I still think leaving Caine dead and the cast having to navigate a dark, broken Circus and support each other while going through actually realistic existential crisises at finding out they are just mind scans, and if it gave Jax the redemption arc instead of Caine like it ....
Yes I wish the whole series was longer. It was a golden show but rushed ending
yeah i mean this kinda just happens when you're limited to nine episodes and you only get two of those to cover both him going off the deep end and redemption

Yeah, o be fair Jax seemed to have a better drawn redemption arc given how she started to protect the others over her own wellbeing a few episodes before.
Not to mention that their initial reactions upon seeing Caine return to them I thought was very lackluster, like from their pov's they should've lost their minds and been more afraid and confused as to why he's back But they never ask any questions they just accept it 🤷♂️
If they redeemed him in a hypothetical Season 2, it definitely would've felt a lot more natrual to me. It was still pretty beautiful though🤷♂️
What i liked about the lat episode is that the characters is that they'll take their time to trust Caine instead of just forgiving him right away
I'm with you in a fashion. It does feel quick from the presentation to the clip show for the end. I don't know how they could have fixed it, without sacrificing pacing. Because you woudl have had to put in a lot of filler of them just rebuilding and Caine on the sideline.

More like his redemption felt boring lol, such a great character just to give him this type of redemption, good the way his story arc began of not listening, then the climax of him already losing it and putting these humans in their place, and then we get him talking to himself
They had to tie it up in that episode. There was enough time for Caine but not enough to heal Jax. Jax would probably take a whole spin-off to unabstract.

A little bit? I kind of wish we got 10 episodes of TADC. I think they just needed a little more time for everything in general. Episode 9 also felt very contradictory to 8. Caine’s dead? Nope! “Oh god. This is real”? Nope! “I’m incapable of abstracting” Nope! Maybe it’s just me.

Caine said it himself: he doesn’t expect everyone to forgive him so easily. But yes, his redemption DID feel rushed to me as well.

You do know there was a time lapse durin episode 9, right? It was a certain amount of time before he went back to the Big Tops to apologize.

I mean,I guess the constant fight for control he was having with the other AI could explain these outbursts .The one that came back wasn't this caine,it was just the red one .
