I lived in chennai for 6 months these are my monthly cost Rent 12k Breakfast 4500 Lunch 3600 Dinner 3000 Biryani 1200 Soap other items 500 Medicine 300 Water can 400 Movie and data 600 21600 around permonth

Only chennai is pricy but there are many places where food comes at lower prices , I have seen .

Yes in chennai every place rates are so high after gas problem when I'm in thanjavur there was egg labba 50 rs but here 70-80 rs now fried rice are minimum 150 rs in small shop itself

Couple of weeks before visited Trivendraum-Kerala,u don't believe the auto & restaurant takes very less.3 Km Rs 40-45,12 km i paid Rs 85,they don't expect anything more&Fishcurry meals with kootu,poriyal Rs 89/- in a decent restaurant,We TN over paid for everything.
