Anyone know how to fix this in premiere? It’s something that has happened suddenly after editing this project for 2 days. No hardware changes, no setting changes. We’ve restarted, updated, deleted media cache, nothing works.

are you running 23.0 or 24.0? I’ve been reverting back to 23.0 until the new one is more stable (at least for me)

We have both 24 and the beta and both are working the same

Have you updated your phone to iOS 17?

I know saying this isn’t much help but I started using Final Cut, especially if you have an Apple silicon chip. It works REALLY well. I was fully Premiere for years but now I made the switch fully to Final Cut and I don’t regret it.

Strangely we haven’t had many premiere issues before this. Obviously some crashes but it usually works fine

You can try going back to a previous version of premiere - it might be an issue with an update

@Oddernod only asking because it’s been a culprit for me… do you have a lot or new fonts installed? You may need your font cache rebuilt/cleared.

I know this sucks, but have you tried using proxies and converting all your footage to high quality proress files for editing. everyone likes to talk about hardware accelerated decoding of mp4/h.264 files... but in my experience... they are bugged and not worth using.

I fixed this issue by disabling audio input in Audio Hardware setting

Just switch to Davinci

Had this exact problem earlier this year but can’t for the life of me remember the fix… gonna try to see if I can find what I did.
