You can tell they tried a bunch of different stuff and it never made any sense. Even Starship barely makes sense. In some ways it’s shame Elon won’t go the easy way and start with expendable 2nd stages. Would still be ridiculously cheap

rotating 180° while falling back to the earth in the atmosphere is ... difficult . I rarely do it voluntarily in KSP
