Anyone who liked Antony Starr as Homelander should check out Banshee (2013–2016), full-on pulp, brutal fights, and Starr playing it loose and dangerous in a way Homelander only hints at.

Homelander's a sneaky puppy, but Banshee's where Starr really cuts loose. Bring on the pulp!

Watched that show in its entirety immediately before The Boys. Absolutely loved it.

This is where I first saw him! Watched the series a few times it was that good!

I loved banshee so much. When the boys came out it took me an entire season to realise it was the same guy playing Homelander. Also, banshee is 100x more fun than the boys. Fight scene is s01e3 and the car fight scene is still amongst TV's best fight scenes ever.

The same people created Warrior. Fantastic.

Fantastic show! I tried to get people to watch this back in the day, but they never watched it

100%. Some of the best fight scenes I’ve ever seen in TV. 10/10, no notes.

I watched an entire season of the Boys without realizing Homelander was the [spoiler] Sheriff from Banchee. I watched another few seasons before I knew Maive was Lily Belle from Hell on Wheels. Fantastic actors!

Totally Agree! Brutal fights, snappy dialogue and hot chicks! Weird! Wild! Stuff

Absolutely everyone in that town knows karate. Everyone.

banshee is pure adrenaline, love it

The fight scenes in Banshee are epic.

I have watched Banshee. 10/10 series. Is Homelander just as good?

Season 4 of this marvel contains one of the best-ever chase scenes I've seen in my life. I've lost count of the number of times I've watched those few glorious minutes.

Bad ass show, definitely a hidden gem.

I just started rewatching it.. its so damn good

Such a badass in Banshee! The prison fight and the mma fight were insane…Homelander is just unhinged crazy.

Banshee was a solid series.

Lucas Hood would beat Homelander without superpowers

Some of the best action sequences in TV period

He does a shit job as Homelander if you're comparing him on Banshee. His Banshee role was far superior.

Great show, it was only 4 seasons. Too short.

@antonystarrgif LOVE Banshee! Surprising & satisfying! 👏👏👏👏👏

Also where proctor bodyguard burton rips off nola windpipe is the most brutal scene i've seen in this series

Banshee is top tier. Absolute chaos but great fun

I love Boys and Banshee brilliant

He was great also in Outrageous Fortune..

Banshee 👏👏👏👏 same creator for warrior and friends and neighbors. Jonathan trooper.

Plus it has Lili Simmons. Swoon...

I love banshee but it's just so dark it takes so much energy to watch it

Love that show It’s so badass

If you like Antony Starr watch outrageous fortune, a kiwi TV series.

This is one of my all-time favorite shows!
