anything that wasn't a designed screen/quick game throw for Shedeur yesterday was...rough. he can clearly create outside of structure, but I think it's going to be hard to take him serious as a future NFL starter until he shows he can stand in the pocket and read out a defense

But he can drop his weight, he can get lateral, he can get in and out of cuts, he’s got really quick feet. We felt he has upside, he was not as good as he is going to be. Mike Dunleavy Jr. on Yaxel Lendeborg’s summer and how he foresees him contributing to the Warriors next season: “Yeah, I think we were really happy to get him on draft night, and we’re even more pleased now with his performance this summer, winning the Summer League, MVP of Summer League. I think he showed everybody why he’s the player we thought he would be. Obviously, that’s a short, short span. It’s a quick, quick couple weeks, and it’s a different level of competition. But I think it’s the beginning of scratching the surface of some things he can do, and we’re hopeful. I don’t want to write it in Sharpie, but we’re hopeful he can have an impact for us as a rookie right away. Joe Niekro getting ejected. Niekro was found to have an emery board in his pocket which he claimed was just to file his nails so he could throw a knuckleball better, but the umps weren't fooled. It wasn't in his pocket the entire time. As soon as he takes his glove off he puts his hands in his back pocket, when the ump tried to grab his hands you can see he put it in his back left pocket. I think he had it taped or glued on his finger.

Jason Day was asked ahead of The Masters whether he has any empathy for what Tiger Woods is going through and he gave a brilliant answer that a lot of people can probably agree with: “So yeah, in regards to Tiger, it just shows the human element and the human side of someone that is struggling with some sort of an addiction. He's not immune to it just because he can hit a golf ball really well. He's had 25 to 30 something surgeries, and when you're going through that many procedures, it's painful coming out of those procedures. I've had procedures done and I typically try and stay away from all that stuff because I just know that -- painkillers, there can potentially be a downfall to it. “Granted, when I look at that, I look at it and go, he's just a human being like everyone else and we have struggles. It's unfortunate, the only thing that I don't understand is that it's a little bit selfish of him to drive and put other people in harm's way, as well. “But when you're the player that he was and how strong-willed he is, he thinks he can do almost anything, and that's probably why he's probably driving and a little bit under the influence. “He was my hero -- he's my hero. He was my hero growing up. The reason why I play golf is because of this tournament and Tiger. It's hard to see him go through what he's going through, and especially under the microscope that -- it must be hard to be who he is and have everything, everyone look on, kind of down on him. “Some people want him to fail.
