Anytime some new technology comes along that claims to simplify and/or replace animation I think back to this animation that Harry Partridge made

@HappyHarryToons I understand people worrying about it since the AI is being used to essentially steal peoples' styles. But replace people? Nah, all these people buying in to the AI are going to realize fast that it's not some amazing do-it-all thing. Its a glorified copying machine.

@HappyHarryToons Any time Harry makes his characters all bugeyed, I know it's a stylistic choice of his. Any time AI does it, I know the "creators" never chose for that to happen and just had to accept this was how it turned out.

So freaking accurate. Still a relevant message in our lord 2023.

@Alex_J_Cleret @HappyHarryToons I will defend GoAnimate on the sense that it was more like an animation toy than an actual serious program. IT would be claiming that 3d Movie Maker would replace ZBrush or anything Autodesk touched.
