AOC: How can we, as members of congress, Republican or Democrat, vote to enrich ourselves by stealing from the American people? That is what this legislation does. In fact, Senator Graham said he was going to seek well over $1 million from the American people, from this. We cannot support it and we cannot stand for it.

.Speaker Mike Johnson on the “One Big Beautiful Bill” and what it means for the American people: “We are at the 1-yard line. We are going to run it right up the middle and score for the American people. Everyone is going to benefit from this bill. It’s the most conservative piece of legislation we have ever worked on.”

Cooper: What we did is put together a coalition of people so that at the end of the day, their own constituents were telling them that we need Medicaid expansion in North Carolina. And now we have 675,000 people who have health insurance. Right now, though, Washington’s trying to take it all away. And it’s one of the reasons that Tillis stood up on the floor of the Senate and said, “How can I vote for this?”

Clark: House Republicans refuse to take yes for an answer. Mike Johnson said that this bill is a joke. That is another classic we can add to their lines about how they feel about the American people and what they are going through right now. We can add it to “affordability is a hoax”

BOMBSHELL: Coach Tuberville just CALLED OUT the Senate GOP for putting on a "SHOW WEEK" instead of doing what it takes to pass the SAVE America Act. "We can't get it passed, and it's probably one of the most CRUCIAL pieces of legislation that we will face." "We can't get anything done. We even have Republicans that are not going to vote for it. [The] talking filibuster is not going to work. The only way we can do it, we got to bust the filibuster, 51 votes, get this done, [we must] pass everything we can for President Trump between now and the election next year, and we can take this country back over." "But if we don't get this passed, we are doomed." Senator Tuberville says it like it is and we need more like him in DC. He will be missed in the Senate, but the people of Alabama will be blessed to have him as Governor.

The American people think ALL politicians, Democrats and Republicans, use our position to enrich ourselves. Today, we sent a bill to the Senate floor that bans Members of Congress, the President, and VP from trading stocks. It’s not perfect, but it’s a good first step, and we should pass it into law.

My office is flooded with calls and emails from Arizonans worried about what losing Medicaid and food assistance will mean for their families. I am begging my Republican colleagues to listen to what their constituents are saying. The best thing we can do right now for the American people is vote against Trump’s big bill.

The Senate cloture vote tomorrow isn't a vote to pass Clarity "Tomorrow is the cloture vote on the Clarity Act on the Senate floor. Now, a lot of people are misrepresenting what that vote means." "Many people think that they're voting on the Clarity Act tomorrow as if that means it will pass tomorrow and be sent to the House and then off to the President if it passes." "What actually is happening tomorrow is a cloture vote, meaning that they're basically voting on voting on bringing it to the floor so that they can decide whether it is even worth discussing." "But regardless, it is a big day. We were wondering what would happen in the month off, right? Would they actually pay attention to what was happening? Would it just be kicked to the curb? Would there be meaningful updates? Well, we got a meaningful update over the past few days." "The champions of this bill, Lummis, Boozman, and Scott, have released a 635-page proposed substitute for the entire Clarity Act if it passes cloture tomorrow." "They have said, we haven't read the entire text, but that it has 126 changes specifically requested by Democrats to get them to vote for it."

Chuck Schumer before: “Until the American people are convinced that we will stop future flows of illegal immigration we will make no progress on the millions of illegal immigrants that are here now illegally." And when we use phrases like undocumented workers we convey a message to the American people that their government is not serious about combating illegal immigration which the American people overwhelmingly oppose. If you don't think it's illegal you're not going to say it. I think IT IS ILLEGAL and WRONG. And we HAVE to Change it!!" -Chuck Schumer ⬇️

Instead of debating how to help people address the rising cost of living or how to make their lives more affordable, we are debating how to make it harder for them to vote. That makes no sense.

PabloReports: Can you share anything about the words you exchanged yesterday with RFK Jr. after the hearing? AOC: Oh, I mean, listen, we’re getting screwed. People are getting screwed. The DOJ has a criminal case open on United Healthcare for stealing money from Medicare. And we’re in a time where all of our healthcare is getting defunded. People are getting denied their health insurance. People are getting denied surgeries, medicines—prescriptions are super expensive. And this administration is responsible for it and rewarding them for it. And we have to bring it to a stop. These companies that are running Medicare Advantage are stealing from people, and we need to be honest about it. It’s got to come to an end.

This isn't about politics, this is about people — and the people I serve got screwed as a result of this federal budget bill. 310K Pennsylvanians will lose their Medicaid, 140K will lose food assistance, and 25 rural hospitals are now under threat because of this bill. The cuts we are about to see are a direct result of how your federal representatives voted, and we cannot fix it for them.

As Arabs, we need to understand that Israel and the West are not our oppressors or enemies. We, Arabs, are our own worst enemies. We, Arabs, are our greatest oppressors. We, Arabs, have killed and oppressed a million times more of our people than the West and Israel can ever do. It is not Israel that married off my mother when she was a child. It is my people who did. It is not the West or Israel that has been bombing Yemen for the past decade and killed 400,000. It is us, Arabs, who did it. It is not the Israel that implanted Islamic extremism in the East and the West. It is our mosques, it is the books we worship, it is the Imams we follow, it is what we learn and what we teach. It is not the West that forces us to treat women like commodities. It is our people. And most of all, it is not the West or Israel that doesn’t value Arab lives. It is us, Arabs, who do not value human life. If we do not admit to ourselves that WE are the problem, that WE are refusing to progress, and that WE need to change – then change will never happen, blood will keep flowing, and we will never know peace. How do we expect the world and the International Community to respect us, when we don’t respect ourselves?

People are forgetting this is a spiritual war. Stay focused on Christ- that’s how we fight this. Everything happening right now is spiritual and the enemy is doing everything he can to keep you from seeing that- Because then you will know how to fight it.
