AOC on CNN: "The courts rely on the legitimacy of their rulings, and when they make a mockery of our system, a mockery of our democracy, a mockery of our law ... we know that the executive branch has enforcement discretion."

Whenever I want to do something dodgy I ask my friends if they think it is OK.

@doglovingfool He reported these gifts, was advised it was a bad look to accept these gifts and chose to STOP reporting, not stop accepting gifts.

Wow, it took nearly 30 years to learn Thom’s taken exorbitant bribes every year, maybe several times annually, and Roberts defies the need for the appointment of a SCOTUS Ethics Cmte. I want to know what goes on in the dark SCOTUS.

If SCOTUS was a responsible organization, Thomas would be placed on leave until an investigation is completed. I strongly believe in “innocent until proven guilty” but with Thomas confessing he took these gifts and did not report them… like come on, DO SOMETHING!

Also, getting bad advice does not absolve one from guilt. We are all accountable under IRS law

Accountability & consequences have no meaning for the GOP. All week, GOP have falsely accused the NY AG of having ties with SOROS but then, they’re absolutely MUTE at the REAL STORY of a SUPREME COURT Judge Clarence Thomas getting free trips with GOP DONORS.

Clarence simply doesn't think the rules apply to him because he and his wife have done whatever they for decades without any repercussions.

@AOC Justice Clarence Thomas has practically admitted guilt. Now, watch for House & Senate Republicans to go all out to protect him from impeachment and thus accountability. Republicans have no problems with corruption, nor do they show any hesitation to violate their Oaths of Office.
