Apartheid 101

There's this palestinian proverb which perfectly fits our plight: "Two things that no one ever finds out about, the crime of the rich and the death of the poor!"

I'm not familiar with it. Can you please write it in Arabic?

They don’t like to call it apartheid because the word comes with a lot of baggage. Israelis call it ‘Hafrada’ which is hebrew for apartheid.

The oppressors always use justification later for why they were murdering an oppressing. Germans justified their crimes against the Jews the same way .

I’m confused. How are they leaving out the part about Palestinians not living in Israel, and not being Israeli citizens?? 25% of Israel’s population are Arabs living in Israel, with full, equal rights just like any other citizen. Palestinians don’t live here!! That’s like complaining that Mexicans don’t have the same rights as US citizens.

For someone who has first hand experience of apartheid, he should have used his voice to support Palestine from the start if he really means what he says in this clip. Late, and sadly not sincere. Too afraid of the career, perhaps.

Funny how skipped all this while he was hosting the tonight show! Then he was glad to be pro-Israel, pro-apartheid....didn't see him needle a single Zionist/pro-Israel guest at that time! What happened? AIPAC or his Zionist employers fired him?

Trevor Noah is awesome, he knows cause he grew up in an apartheid system. If it quacks like a duck and waddles like a duck, its a duck.
