I had done my best to resolve whatever crisis of confidence had arisen between the two people (Rauf Aregbesola and President Bola Tinubu). I Will Not Support President Tinubu in 2027 - Onokpasa I'm not leaving my party the APC for anybody including President Tinubu. When we campaigned for him in 2023 he promised to make food cheap, today we cannot deny the high rate of hunger in the land. I will work with APC members, those of us who put Tinubu in office and are dissatisfied with him, to remove him from power Jesutega Onokpasa, Lawyer and Public Affairs Analyst

I think President Tinubu deserves a second term because he has done more to tackle insecurity, probably more than any president before him. We have not had the kind of numbers we have of terrorists and bandits who are killed now compared to years past. -Felix Morka, APC Spokesperson #SundayPolitics

2027: We have so many people to challenge Tinubu; even I can decide to contest, and I will challenge him. We know Tinubu too well; we know his strategies — there is nothing new about what they (the APC) will do. Who will challenge him will be determined by the Nigerian people through the membership of the ADC. We are going to conduct transparent primaries. Whosoever wins will challenge Tinubu. - Solomon Dalung, Fmr. Sports Minister #SundayPolitics

“It will not be well with anyone who says I should not support President Tinubu. They want me to remain in exile while they keep using my name to raise money for themselves. Renowned people within the Yorubaland went on my behalf to beg Tinubu, they said after all I didn’t do SIT AT HOME and I wasn’t preventing people from moving to wherever they like. The same Tinubu that I insulted several times didn’t only forgive me, he also restored back my lost dignity…….Let me tell you, I will use all my whole life to support Tinubu, whoever says I shouldn’t will meet the wrath of God…..”

My support for President Tinubu is a promise he made to me. Before he ran for President, I had a conversation with him. He has done precisely what he said to me in a private conversation two years ago. He has kept his word. I will be crazy not to support him.
