A 35-year-old man was exiting a place at 50th Street and 12th Avenue in Manhattan around 4:30 a.m., when he was approached at gunpoint. The suspects tried to steal the man's necklace, and a struggle ensued. One of the robbers then open fired and shot the man in the arm. First responders transported the victim to Bellevue Hospital, where he is in stable condition. The robbers continued shooting as they were fleeing in a white Honda Accord, when a bullet struck one of them. The injured suspect was dropped off at an NYU hospital and is expected to survive. Two other suspects are still at large.

I didn't get to talk to him, but I didn't get to, you know, know who he was. But it seemed like he suggested that somebody went up and started shooting at the National Guard." Newark, NJ An investigation is underway after a shooting at a recording studio left two people dead and two others injured, in Newark on Wednesday. People who live and work on Clinton Avenue told Eyewitness News they often hear music coming from a recording studio on the block, but on Wednesday night, the music was drowned out by the sound of gunshots. The recording studio, Platinum Sound, is on the ground level of an apartment building, and sandwiched between a hair salon and a supermarket. One man who was shot died at the scene. A second man who was shot was pronounced dead at the hospital. Two other male victims were wounded by gunfire, and were taken to the hospital in stable condition. The victims have not yet been identified.

A man was shot by a community member after he attempted to rob a woman. The incident occurred this evening around 19:00 in the Dorado Residential area of Windhoek. According to City Police Sergeant Nelly Nelilwa, who was present at the scene, the suspect and his accomplice attempted to rob the woman of her phone and other valuables while she was purchasing fruits and vegetables from street vendors on Dr. Kuaima Riruako Street. A community member intervened, shooting one of the suspects in the leg and successfully chasing down and apprehending the other. The suspects were found in possession of two pangas. An ambulance was called to the scene to attend to the injuries of the shooting victim.
