'Apollo 13' is the essential Tom Hanks performance

She's not wrong. But I'd say Cast Away just because he's basically the only actor in most of the movie.

Castaway.

Do Clue for Tim Curry! @SeanFennessey is always ready for Clue.

In light of recent circumstances Clue and 9 to 5. The people would like it.

@BillSimmons can we get a category like “the shawshank redemption tnt background play while doing household chores” movie

I concur... and that, is how we do that :)

what's this week's movie?

The question got raised why Hanks tells the other astronauts “I’ve seen it” when they are flying by the moon. For Hanks, this is a movie about leadership. He knows they might all die, so he’s letting his people have a joyful, wonderful moment. It’s fantastic acting.

Even though AMPAS recognized the achievement with all of the Oscar noms it got you knew this film wasn't "woke" enough for Hollywood.

@BillSimmons 😴 💤 💤

Hanks got gifted two OSCARS and got robbed the one for Apollo 13.
