A person can apologise as much as they want, but if they haven't changed their behaviour, then it means nothing Whats worse, imo, is the ones who never show remorse

Apologies can help ease the pain, but they can't erase the hurt you've caused. While changed behavior is essential to prove remorse, it's also important to acknowledge that the hurt can linger. Remember that healing takes time, and being patient and understanding can help you rebuild trust.

I believe that apology without change is manipulation. Stop using remorse as means to avoid accountability. True apologies aren't just saying "I'm sorry". It's making intentional and permanent changes in behavior. This shows how much you truly value and respect your relationship

This is extremely well said! This is the difference between a genuine apology and a legally required “correction”.

True, which is why I wish he didn’t help lobby the Texas government to steal money from us taxpayers so they can try to create Hollywood 2.0 here.

Energy changes every time someone hurts another. Forgiving that balances energy, but changes the relationship with that person.

How true!!!!! I hate the word sorry because most of the people believe that after you have apologised to them my job is finished. Bullshit the correction just begins.

First time, shame on you. Second time, shame on me!! Never a third time.

An apology doesn’t erase the damage. But sometimes the real wound is when it never comes. 🦊

Agreed. In the agency world, apologies are a poor substitute for systems. Solutions erase problems.

Staying committed to an apology isn’t always easy especially if it’s tied to a behavioural pattern that’s been with a person since childhood. Changing behavioural patterns that feel as if their your identity will almost always create repeat offenders.

It's still very optimistic. In today's conversations, you can very rarely find someone who apologizes... Forget about an apology, they will pretend like nothing happened.
