My thoughts on why conscience protections, and a legally tight opt-in, is important in relation to Assisted Dying. Despite my focus on protecting health and care workers' RIGHTS - from doctors to porters - supporters of the Bill (mostly Labour) kept interrupting. There seems to be great complacency and carelessness RE the unintended consequences of the Bill for front-line staff.
