Wild part is that barber shops are the only new storefronts that have opened up recently and they think they can charge these prices. Also feels like they trying to do too much. I used to get cuts every 2 weeks. But after my barber started asking for 55 for a full cut. I grew my hair out got braids. Now I get a shape up once a month. Bro was getting 40 from me with the tip. Now I rarely go. And I can shape up my own shit. My barber is in the hood btw. Crazy.

I bought a whole master clipper set and I just do it myself. It’s tedious cutting your own hair but it beats paying 40-80 dollars every 2 weeks. 10 years ago I used to pay $15 for a cut and $10 for a shape up. Ya’ll tweaking, and to be completely honest that shit is not that hard 💀

I started giving myself haircuts as soon as it cost me $20 to get one at Supercuts. I bought a nice set of clippers back then for $30. I have gotten 25 years of use out of those clippers so far. 25 years of haircuts, I'm quite good at it now.
