Yep! It's a special story case for this battle, but you can use LB3 in any 8-man content. DPS get Big Special Attack, Healers get a Very Special Revive + Heal, while Tanks get Super Powerful Shield. It's always awesome when you get the chance to use it.

Normally dungeons cap at LB2, and only during the final boss. Raids (8+ players) let you rip a tier 3 ult, aka LB3. The meter is a shared resource, so you've gotta be careful who uses it and when. This battle lets you do it for story and "FUCK YEAH" reasons.

Red Mage LB3 looks lik calling in a plasma lance from an orbiting battle cruiser. People jokingly call it Verflashbang

Yap, and depending how the fights are going, sometimes they are reserved for Healers, 'cause they res up everyone in the party with their LB3. Tanks usually only use them in high-end raids for THICCness for the party and Red Mage literally flashbangs the entire screen.

Yes! But just remember it’s a shared bar with the party, so just be wary if tanks or healers need to do their thing :D ( usually just in eight mans tho)
