I genuinely cannot understand how someone can watch this story and still stand there, looking at two women, and somehow decide that the wrong one is the victim. On one side, you have a girl (Yıldız) who has been mistreated her entire life. Since the moment she was born, she was treated like a sacrifice for a conflict she was never even part of and later we find out that this conflict never even existed. Her right to study was taken from her. She was pushed into a marriage at a very young age just imagine being six, seven, eight years old, living in fear of being tied to someone you don’t even know. She was treated like a servant in her own home, by the very people she thought were her family. And just when she gets close to the happiness she dreamed of, the man she was engaged to shows up with another wife. She gets mistreated by that wife, by his family, and even (unintentionally) by him, because he was trying to run away from his own feelings, and that only caused her more heartbreak. The whole world was literally against her. She fought through all of that, only to find out in the end that everything she suffered for was based on something that wasn’t even real. Her entire life was built on a lie. That she isn’t even part of that family that she has literally no one in this world. Now on the other side… You have a girl (Melek) who, yes, was taken from her biological mother but she was raised by loving parents. She had everything anyone could wish for: education, freedom, a happy childhood, a healthy environment. One of the greatest at this college graduation is furious at this woman and the school. She feels this was supposed to be her proudest moment in life so far, this woman whose son was walking in front of the woman blocked her as she did her graduation walk. I’ve never been to a graduation where this is even allowed, I wonder if she broke the rules to do this and that’s why nobody else is doing it.was the school liable for failing to control this parent who made the day about herself or is the blame solely on this selfish woman?

URGENT APPEAL This is Njeri Mugure She is 28 years and was born deaf. Her mother locked her away about 10 years ago due to her disability. She sometimes is even chained on the seat and never allowed to go outside. Due to the deplorable conditions, and malnutrition, lack of sun and she often left in her own excrement. Her bones are brittle andis unable to walk unsupported. Her language is now guttural sounds, whereas neighbours say that she used to be vocal. Njeri has not been cleaned in a long time and our ED Njeri and the house mum have been cleaning her but due to the formation of scales on her skin. She also has oral thrush and other issues. Having rescued her , we took her to hospital and reported the matter to Kihara Police, we are doing P3s today for the arrest of the mother due to gross negligence. We need your help for her care for the next three months. Njeri needs a caregiver as she is unable to hold her urine or excrement. We need diapers and gloves. We need a portaloo to potty train her , a small walker to aid movement and drugs as well as supplements that have been prescribed. We will stay with her for three months as we figure her next steps. in the wise words of taylor swift, “a man is allowed to react, a woman can only overreact.” they cut the camera to her while she was still in shock & she took a sip of her drink. that is not even a reaction. this whole situation has blown out of proportion throughout the media. you’d think things would’ve gotten better for women in the past five years since she said this, but that’s not the case. this has made one thing abundantly clear, women are not allowed to react when they are blatantly disrespected. even if they don’t react, they’re still overreacting, since there is this perpetuating stereotype that women are “dramatic & emotional.” she’s just sitting there trying to enjoy her night that she was attending because of HER accomplishments & the records she broke with her movie about her life-changing, record-smashing tour. yet, she was only mentioned once, only ten minutes in, to be devalued to her relationship & to poke fun at the ways the media has been tormenting her for years. you can not tell me that is funny. she’s been through hell throughout her career, she’s heard these jokes a million times—she’s over it. she shouldn’t have to laugh at a joke that offended her to appease anyone. personally, i’m extremely proud of her for not feeling it was necessary to be a people pleaser & laugh, which is what she typically would’ve done int the past. that shows growth, that shows that she finally recognizes her worth. she finally realized that she doesn’t have to put up being painfully disrespected. she’s allowed to think a rude joke isn’t funny, it just made her uncomfortable. if she looks uncomfortable, it means he crossed the line, regardless of if you think it was funny or not. it’s evident that this was an under reaction. she kept her composure & responded to the situation perfectly. however, even though she responded perfectly, she’s still getting tremendous amounts of hate for this. this makes it abundantly clear that men in this society will always have it out for women who are successful—especially when that success was created all on their own, since women are not allowed to be successful in their eyes. that is blatant misogyny, just like the joke they think she is a horrible person for not laughing at. of course they think the joke was funny, they’re a bunch of misogynists themselves.

This girl has lived on her street for eight years without a single issue—until she spent exactly 20 hours parked in a forbidden" spot. Mind you, this is a public street. In front of a house she owns. But apparently, parking in front of a neighbor's place once makes her "inconsiderate." She’s never parked there in nearly a decade, and if they’d stayed quiet, she probably never would have again. The other neighbors are just as shocked as she is, so a formal decision has been made: That spot is now her permanent residence. 🚗

For those who aren't familiar with the story of Brenda Liliana Rivera-Estrada, a highway cam video shows the rolled over SUV on I 17 in Phoenix where she forced her 9 year old daughter to share a seatbelt with a sibling. Alexa Cortez Rivera was ejected and killed in the crash. On April 12 2026 Brenda Liliana Rivera Estrada 30 a Mexican national who overstayed her visa since entering through Nogales Arizona in 2009 was driving northbound with four children in the car. She was speeding and witnesses reported reckless passing. When the mother lost control the SUV flipped. Alexa was ejected and died at the scene. The other three children were injured but survived. Officers noted the strong odor of marijuana. Rivera Estrada faced manslaughter and child abuse charges locally but county prosecutors declined to file them. She was released only for ICE to take her into custody on an immigration detainer. She is now in federal detention pending removal proceedings.

This is Bertha - and this is exactly the situation I have been struggling with. She was my first cow purchase. Bought her as a milk cow and then soon learned she was mostly past time for being a good milk cow. She’s about 14 or 15 years old. Still gives a calf each year but her time for a natural end is coming quickly. Many would take her to the sale barn, receive some money for her. It’s difficult to explain but that feels wrong - it’s not, but it feels terrible. So at this point she will likely live her life out here, she’ll serve as a lead cow (she’s really not great for that either), but she will do okay. She means a lot to me and I just don’t want to think of her at auction or otherwise being transported somewhere away from this farm. So for now, and likely until her very end, she remains here.
