Apparently, someone had their #Destiny2 character deleted recently where the "Delete Character" prompt popped up randomly for a split second (at 00:28) after selecting the character. Usually, the prompt requires you to hold a key for a couple of seconds. (via Octo)

It seems that the prompt appeared on the screen when it clearly should not have, and the player accidentally hit Enter key.

Yeahhhh... this sucks, but maybe don't just click through menu options blindly. I always wait for prompts to pop up and actually read them before ever touching any buttons. Also, if the game is having that many connection issues, just log off for a little bit and try again later.

Thank you for sharing this And to everyone saying I was like speedrunning spam or idk this clip is sped up and so what you guys never spam a key when loading something ? Does spamming a button justifies loosing a character with a deleter character screen appearing for 3 frames ?
