It does require some bravery to chase a leopard. But it's not as foolhardy as people think. Once ambush predators like leopard, tiger lose their element of surprise, they generally turn tail. Even man-eaters are inherently fearful.

Nilgiris Forest Division has been carrying out forest fire fighting operations in Forest Dale area in Coonoor. About 100 staff and trained personnel are currently engaged in extinguishing the fire. The Indian Air Force has joined the district team today in aerial firefighting using a helicopter fitted with a bambi bucket to douse the fire.
