Here's the Rive source file and the code behind it. The Rive file is available on the Rive Rive Marketplace, and I'll also share the code below. Apologies in advance for the messy file structure and naming conventions. At some point I stopped naming things properly and chose chaos instead.

First look at Rive support in Backdrop 🤩 I optimised performance down to extremely low levels (4-5% CPU) and barely any energy impact! And that's with a fairly intense example of the new Feather effect. Gaussian blur could never. The Rive team did a great job 👏

With the rise of AI-generated raster assets, I wonder could Skeuomorphism become trendy again? Will we soon start seeing design briefs say: “We want an Apple-like style, OpenAI-like style… and now Airbnb-like style”? :)

You can use Dall-E 3 in any app on your phone. It works on iOS and Android. 1. Download and activate Microsoft Swiftkey keyboard (link below) 2. Tap on the emoji then on the Designer icon 3. Write your prompt and insert your image Note: it generates 4 different images that you can also find later on the "Image Creator" website.

When Ghostty detects a password input prompt, it now changes the cursor to a lock and on macOS enables the secure input API. When the secure input API is enabled, we show a neat, animated icon that explains what's going on when clicked. Another example of native UI wins (imo). Secure Input is the macOS system API that prevents accessibility APIs from reading your keystrokes, so things like screen recording software and so on can't read your passwords. Other terminals on macOS support secure input. I think only iTerm also supports secure input on password detection. So as a disclaimer, I'm not trying to claim this as a huge innovation, I just think our implementation is nice. 😊

I was really mesmerized by the effect of the intro in Mario Kart 8, so I kinda recreated it on iOS using a shader while also studying Liquid Glass. It took a lot of time, but it was very fun and definitely worth it.
