Yes, they’re definitely improving. I’ve tried it with all the possibilities, and I had no issues with the on-device AI. I expected worse, but Apple will soon be cooking. It’s usable in the Shortcuts app, and I wonder if they’ll make it an app or not.

True, but on-device is a tech spec, not a feature. Most users don’t care how it runs, they care that it runs and how well. If it falls behind the competitors, that a problem and the fact it’s on-device model is not an excuse.

It’s EMF and towers being used to create, manipulate, modify, etc the weather and it has horrific consequences on our health. Trust me I know because I live it every day of my life! I joined OpenAI at the beginning of the year -- partly because I was excited about the possibility of better voice interaction with computers. So it was *especially* amazing to work with the team here on the gpt-4o model launch. It's hard to grok until you try it how big of a step forward this is for human/computer voice communication. It feels different -- it's obvious that the model understands you better than anything you've used before. This is my favorite demo of gpt-4o, it demonstrates not just good stt/tts, but actual conversational ability over full, realistic phone call. It's so obvious how useful this will be!

I hate constraints and bullshit rules - and just because some WWE producer says, "clear" (meaning, we are no longer live on the air and the show is over) that doesn't mean I just stop whatever I'm doing and tell everyone great job. It fucking pissed me off. I can't shut my high emotions off just because a script says we're done. But even in this crazy fucking world of pro wrestling - this is a microcosm of a larger issue I have with individuals, corporations & governments - telling us what we can or can't do. You have to do it this way, you have to say it that way, or you'll get cancelled. They create fear if you have a different perspective and don't live by their rules. It's their way, or no way. Fuck that. I say it the way I want to say it. I do it the way I want to do it. My choice. Our choice. Fuck your "clear" - Final Boss
