Seems like a water pie recipe swapped with apple juice. What would already help this recipe a lot would be to turn the ingredients into something similar to a custard. Heat the apple juice, mix starch with water until dissolved, add a bit of vanilla and stir the starch mix 1/?

Did he say whisk that together with a fork? I’d have preferred he said… “Fork that together”… but I’ll accept it. 😒

I make mine with saltine crackers. No apple juice needed but still get texture that mocks apples and tastes like them too. Flavor is awesome.
