The previous rendition of personas felt like a hybrid approach w/ neural textures that were very noticeable when you looked at your teeth and eyes. This also seems to be confirmed: "We also changed this rendering approach such that we unify the ways that we're rendering the body and the face. So it's a new neural network architecture that's emitting this Gaussian splat representation."
