This vehicle was swept away by a flash flood at around 4:00 am this morning on Highway 183 west of Lampasas, Texas and the driver abandoned the vehicle and survived! The vehicle has yet to be found. This shows the dangerous of flash flooding in the middle of the night in the #Texas Hill Country. The flood is of Lucy Creek and a local resident said it’s higher than he has ever seen. The Lampasas River has surpassed 27 feet in depth approaching major #flood stage
