What if an Allied soldier were caught on video taking a sledgehammer to a Hitler monument? How would Americans react? I imagine there would be claps on the back, perhaps even applause. After all, that’s his job. So imagine the outrage among Israelis after an Israeli soldier, caught on camera destroying a monument to Yasser Arafat, was punished with a suspension. This may sound extreme to Western ears, but you must understand who Arafat is to Israelis. The world’s memory of Arafat is the Arab man in fatigues, wrapped in a white and black keffiyeh shaking hands with Yitzhak Rabin on the White House lawn, but Israel’s memory is longer. Israelis remember the thirty years before—and the ten years after—the Middle East’s version of Chamberlain’s “peace in our time.” Let’s begin before the handshake. From the birth of the PLO in 1965 until its supposed “moderation” in 1993, Arafat was the smiling face behind every infiltration, every bombing, every hijacking that plagued Israel. Arafat was Israel’s arch-terrorist, responsible for more Jewish deaths than anyone between Hitler and Sinwar. Arafat was also the first “foreign leader” to visit Israel’s current arch-enemy, the Islamic Republic, after the revolution. The meeting between radical secularists and radical zealots was made warm by their mutual aim: the destruction of Israel. One operative in his PLO, Anis Naccache, even claims credit for proposing the idea that later became the IRGC. Then came the First Intifada and the secret discussions that led to the White House lawn. Rabin initially refused to extend his hand to Arafat and required Bill Clinton to nudge him into initiating the handshake. Rabin’s pained expression tells much about Israel’s perception of the terrorist, and he would later recall being physically ill at the act. But the picture came out clean, and the world cemented Arafat in its consciousness as a moderate. Then the peace process. He raised Israel’s hopes to unprecedented heights only to walk away from the table and, at least in Israeli memory, reward their efforts at peace with a years-long rolling October 7. Buses and hotels exploded across Israel. Thousands of innocents were killed in the Second Intifada. All the while, the once “partner in peace” sat in his compound in Ramallah, watching his bloody creation. In an image representative of Israel’s complex relationship with the man, then–Prime Minister Ariel Sharon sat in his office beneath a photograph of Arafat shaking Rabin’s hand while shouting orders to besiege his Ramallah compound during Operation Defensive Shield in 2002. That brings us to today. Whatever one may think about the desecration of monuments, Israelis saw something different. The people watching the sunset here on the beach in Tel Aviv don’t know that, at this very spot, 25 years ago today, 21 teenagers were killed by terrorists as they arrived at the Dolphinarium nightclub, now replaced with this beachfront promenade. Exactly a year before, hoping for international acclaim, hapless Israeli PM Ehud Barak pulled the IDF out of the South Lebanon buffer zone they had held for 18 years. Hezbollah immediately planted its flag on the border, literally. Nasrallah came to the border to declare victory, famously noting that Israel was “weaker than a spider’s web.” Arafat took note, and so, weeks later, rejected the Clinton offer at Camp David that would have brought about a Palestinian state. Two months after that, he began the campaign of terror that killed 1,000 Israelis. Twenty-five years later, a new generation of Israelis is back in Lebanon, still cleaning up the mess the hasty pullout from Lebanon precipitated.

The Violations of the Shaykhs of Aden Whom are defended by Arafat Al-Muhammadi (With chronological events and video and photo evidence sufficient for every fair-minded person and methodologically sound Salafi) The following video presents documented audio, video and photographic evidence showing that the Shaykhs of Aden who are defended by Arafat al-Muhammadi after the following actions, supported the separatist Southern Transitional Council (STC) against Yemen’s legitimate president, Rashād al-ʿAlīmī. After the STC advanced into Ḥaḍramawt in December 2025 despite warnings from President al-ʿAlīmī and Saudi Arabia, the videos show six named Aden shaykhs urging cooperation with STC armed forces, praying for them, and celebrating their victories during their rebellion, unlike Shaykh ʿAlī al-Ḥudhayfī, who refrained due to it being taking part in rebellion against the legitimate ruler and against the directives of Saudi Arabia. The evidence further shows that when Shaykh ʿAbdullāh al-Bukharī issued a fatwa affirming obedience to President al-ʿAlīmī as obligatory, the Aden shaykhs failed to collectively publish or endorse it, using their centralized media channels called “the Aden Shaykhs” that is recognized by the STC and the common people of Aden alike to post the collective positions of all of them. After Saudi airstrikes on the STC, STC rebel leader Aidarus al-Zubaidi announced a separatist constitutional declaration (2 Jan 2026), and subsequently Salah Kantūsh is shown calling him the rebel leader “one of the major rulers.” Watch the video for more details. Today after the rebellion failed the Shaykhs of Aden lie and claim that they were always with legitimacy and never with the STC, while the video and audio evidence shown disproves that. Hence, if a raging blind follower comes to you showing the Shaykhs of Aden today affirming the legitimacy of President Rashād al-ʿAlīmī and renouncing the STC without repenting from what we have shown above with video and photo evidence, then it is clear that they are simply trying to save face since the rebellion they supported failed thanks to the Kingdom of Tawḥīd, Saudi Arabia. May Allah preserve it. Shaykh Rabee Al-Madkhali (رحمه الله) said regarding Yemen, “Be with the coalition, be with Saudi Arabia.” From the video below, it’s as clear as the sun in the sky for one who’d like to recognize it that the Shaykhs of Aden and their defender, Arafat Al-Muhammadi, violated this fatwa because they abandoned obedience to their ruler during rebellion, they were not with the coalition, and they were not with Saudi Arabia. Before viewing this video, I advise every person to first read or re-read the article below regarding blameworthy politics and legislated politics by our Shaykh Dr. Abu Iyaad Amjad Rafiq, may Allah preserve him, as it gives a valuable backdrop and insight on the issue and helps one properly understand the transgressions that have been operated by these people. Most of you don't know that after the Oslo accords the Palestinians were allowed to build an airport in Dahaniya in the southern Gaza Strip.
