What is Auburn getting in 6’7 Abdul Bashir Jr? Well for starters they land the most proflic scorer and shooter in all of JUCO basketball. Abdul has a very tight handle, he can create off the dribble hitting tough pull-ups or stepbacks or can be very efficient on the move. Never before have we seen a player with Bronny’s resume be given the opportunities he has. Many believe it’s because of his last name. To that I say… SO WHAT?! USC 6’5 Freshman Wesley Yates III has been one of the most underrated potential prospects in this years NBA Draft. So far this season Yates is averaging 13 PPG 2 RPG 1 SPG 48% FG 39% 3FG Yates has also played at a very high level in conference play where he’s averaging 17/3/2 on 54/47/73 splits Yates ability to score on all 3 levels along with his athleticism and shot creation makes him a very effective scorer. At 6’5 there’s not a lot of players his height and age who can score like him. Yates is also a strong off ball player.

He has the ability to beat his man in wide areas or pockets, in open or tight space. He can manipulate the ball from any angle. On top of that, he strikes the ball cleanly and can pick passes from any angle, which makes him a serious output threat. He’s not a physical monster, but he holds his own. Cherki has already shown you don’t need to be a physical anomaly to succeed as a winger/AM in the Premier League, as long as you’re supreme technically. He’s still only 20 years old.

6’9 Sophomore Wing Antonio Chol has been one of the best scorers in Juco this season. So far he’s averaging 21 PPG 9 RPG 2 APG 50% FG 41% 3FG Chol provides a ton of versatility at 6’9 that not a lot of players have, he’s a great athlete who can shoot the ball and is a high level finisher. He also has a really good handle for his height. He’s extremely underrated at the moment but I expect that to change soon.

Somewhere between the fourth and sixth round. He wasn’t overly impressed with him.’ ‘He’s listed at 6-3, [but] the scout told me he’s probably closer to 6 foot or 6-1. If they were dissatisfied with Maxx Crosby’s medical that’s ok, but what’s not ok is to treat any player & their family in that manner.
