Are drivers surprised Kyle Larson didn't get a decision on his waiver request yet and do they think he should get one? Here's the thoughts of Kyle Busch, Denny Hamlin, Tyler Reddick, Brad Keselowski and Chris Buescher.

@KyleBusch summed it better than anyone . Kyle Larson doing more for motorsports than anyone . It’s really not close. He shows up, picks whatever car you wanna compete in and says let’s do it. If that’s bad for @NASCAR then someone in nascar doesn’t get it.

@NASCARONFOX Busch honestly had the best answer. Plain and simple, he’s brought more eyes on us and other Motorsports. Penalize him for that, it’ll be a bad look on motor sports as a whole

NASCAR is so funny. One week they delay the start of the all star race to ensure Larson arrives in time but a week later can't decide if they want to grant a waiver. Kind of like one week a car getting loose is a caution and another week it isn't.

Busch is spot on, Larson is doing a ton to get more eyeballs on all different forms of motor sports, the double is good for both Indy and Nascar.

I agree with Keselowski. NASCAR drivers running the double is good for NASCAR and motorsports in general. Larson has the consequence of scoring no points for the Coke 600, which may cost him the regular season title. I think that's enough of a consequence.

Brad is spot on! Had it not rained NASCAR would have promoted the crap out of this and hell if he won at either race…wow would it have been a huge story.

Brad has a good point that if he doesn’t get a waiver, it essentially ends the double for any nascar driving going forward as they won’t want to risk any delays.

The key line in this whole series is if they deny Kyle the waiver it ends drivers attempting the double. Does Nascar really want that especially since the last few drivers to try it have been in the top 10 during the race.

Nascar is milking this situation, if he doesn't get the waiver, they will lose fans

If this was Justin Haley missing a race bc he took place in an SCCA Autocross event for the first time, that’d be one thing. But we are talking about a guy who races different stuff 3 nights a week and has for 10 years. And Nascar participated in it. Had their hand in it.
