Are free loadouts a problem in ARC Raiders?

Issue with this is that it’ll just encourage free loadouts to rush the last extract and camp players who’ve been kitting out for the entire match. It’ll encourage extraction camping and make it less of a wait for those who want to do that.

Well spawning in with 18mins left does suck, but you could just surrender and load in to a new raid if using a free load

@ChrisCovent It's more so for players who bring a load out. People that are at higher risk deserve to be able to fight or gather loot first. It should be: Free load out : spawn in at any time Custom load out: only spawn in 25+ min left

Cause you're afraid of losing your loot to guys with slight shots and flintstones bandaids. The free kit sucks, it makes no sense to penalize it. The kitted player has better guns better heals better everything. So you should be able to deal with the freebies easily.

You get random & minimal resources to loot and defend yourself from both AI and users, a huge disadvantage on basically every map. If you get wrecked by someone with a free kit you don’t deserve your kit or the loot you lost with it. It’s the most risk that hurts the least 🤷‍♂️

And freebies dont have safe pocket. Any mistake against arcs or nearby raiders and all is gone. Yeah, you dont lose anything you previously had, but you "wasted" your time and couldn't save a single item

Better approach than limiting, but imo I hope they leave it alone. Keeps things interesting + I’ve had some fantastic raids coming in late.

I have no problems with free loadouts in fresh raids. It's joining in with stacks of wolfpacks in hopes of destroying arc, and you get dropped in a map with 17 minutes left with everything destroyed and looted. 25+ ONLY for custom. No limit for free.

PvPers who take the game seriously want to be the best, they'll stick around longer then casuals. Casuals are unreliable they COULD stay? But most of the time they leave when they get bored or like I said a new game drops.

Be the best at what? The ranked system in the game is for pve content. The amount of clips I see that are PvP focused are just sweats killing dads

Funny how I’m seeing so many videos with sec people starting to get upset about the pvp mechanics. I’ve been saying for months now @ARCRaidersGame needs to add more pvp risk. Think like the division, if someone can camp around and go on a killing spree they should be pinged on the map or some kinda reward for killing the most wanted players

Yeah I agree with you on everything you said I’m just also saying for me, I wish they did it more like the division with PvP aspects. They can do so much more and add more then just to kill people to take the gear or other reasons. Like special extremely rare weapon blueprint drops that spawn on map as an event but involves PvP.

You have this giant pve experience ready to be expanded to another level that fuses into the PvP at the same time. Even since how arc wasn’t even originally PvP. @ARCRaidersGame please for the sake of this masterpiece you created. Beef the content to the extreme. Pve experience we need builds, and blueprints on borderlands level 1000s. Maybe even create a gun with some kinda new gunsmith mechanic system that ties into builds loadouts/ even free loadout systems. Add trading, add a multiplayer hub

I think about 90-95% of players in solos are friendly (unless it’s Stella Mortis, then it’s more like 50-50). PvP seems way more prevalent in groups where it’s more of a Battle Royal than an extraction game

Getting rid of or nerfing free loadouts or doing the spawn in late thing will kill the game...no matter what these streamers think or say they are the 1 percent..this game is popular because of causals and needs those causals for any kind of success going forward

No. You get less space no safe pocket and not enough ammo to sustain. That is the trade off for the generic free gear. The timer argument is nonsense to me. Bringing gear and having all the space in the world to loot is less risky in reality and should not exclude other people from access to the loot. Let's not gatekeep the mission timers please. Thx.

@xeenosgaming if you’re not running into free kit players, what’s the issue? i think their limited ammo and meds is enough of a restraint. alternatively, why would i not run free kit, spawn late, and rush a guy that has a kit and spent more time looting? i’ll die 4/5 times but get lucky once

I can make a 'free loadout' kit (Kettle 1, ect) with a safe pocket for the cost of minimal materials, and still get in early with not much to lose under your proposal. Make entry into higher tier servers w/players using kitted out loads cost some medium cost materials to enter.

Maybe "pay" some mid level cost to ensure your entry into a fresh game. Worth it if you are looting, not worth it if you are just griefing like a scumbag. If you want to keep playing the game as is, no need to worry about the next tier "fee-of-entry" server/lobby w fresh starts

Nobody fully kitted is leaving early. They are staying the whole time and doing PvP until the end

@XSpeechmyass If they come in at the 25-30 minute mark they’ve had 5-10 minutes to loot and fight. Chances are they’re looted up and ready to leave by the 20 minute mark. Why risk the kit/loot you got to free loadouts?

It’s my thought that if I’m coming in fully kitted I should never spawn at 17 min because then I have to head towards evac to reset my run. It’s also my thought that free kits are mostly to PvP at this point in the game

@QuickSnackYT Free load outs are mainly being used by people with no loot or gear fear which would be the casuals for the most part. Only time they're soley being used for pvp is stella montis for the most part.

Rng all day for the win. It would change the dynamics too much. The game has huge appeal by having it feel more risky to run with a good kit. You play different. If you come into a match late .. just dip! And try again. But if we change the risk and random element of time.. it loses something i find appealing.

I mean the risk is still prevalent. You are going against fully kitted players looking to fight. You aren’t easily just wiping all the free kit Andy’s

Free kits don't have as much risk but they're also a fraction as powerful as a full kit. If they spawn in late, good loot spots are picked clean so it takes longer to progress. This indirectly incentivizes free kits to just be aggro and yolo blast a kitted guy to try and win

This is my ruleset going into next season I really hope they change free loadouts to be late join while prioritizing regular loadouts at raid start, tarkov does this with scavs

Totally agree with this. After what I’ve seen today, so many red flares going into the air literally at the start of a run because people are surrendering instantly with a free loadout when they don’t get the Reinforced Reception Spawn or near it on Blue Gate. Farming #cringe
