Are old COD games really better, or is it just nostalgia?

They’re better because they were released far more complete than any AAA title we’ve seen the last 10 years. Now you’re forced to wait 2-3 patches in order for the game to become playable.

They're better. Maps and mechanics were not already made and designed with strong aim assists in mind. You had to actually be good at FPS to be good at COD. Not good at COD to be good at COD. Yes, I know that sounds weird but it makes perfect sense.

They were better. Old CODs were clean and simple. The menus worked and the lobbies were consistent. You could friends and enemies that you’d face multiple games in a row, creating camaraderie and rivalries. There was passion rather than suits behind the games. They were fun.

They are a trillion times better! The only CoD game I play right now is CoD 4 remastered! Shit is so fun

Nostalgia. They would bitch about: - The Fast TTK - Lack of AA - Broken Perks - OP streaks - Camping - Drop shotting and jumping around corners. If mw2 2009 got a 1:1 remaster people would cry. If people wanted old cod back those games would get a resurgence and not mw2019.

They just are better, that's how sinple it is, they are clean asf compared to any new cods, played them laat week and sthey still feel better, the movement is still more better, the engine is better, maps are better, guns are better, streaks are more cool, vpice lines, camos..

They have flaws but overall they’re just better. -TTK is decent (Been playing MW2 and it’s great) - Maps are better and have nicer flow/layout -Guns don’t need 1billion cosmetics and purchasable add ons. - No stupid/cartoony skins etc like Fortnite - Slower movement
