As long as only the manager can call for it, yes. Players will be too jacked up on emotion and could end up hurting their team.

Absolutely absurd for anyone to say no. Getting calls right is all that matters. Doesn’t matter who makes them.

People would miss the human element of an umpire missing a call and the player putting on a performance to then get ejected. I.E. Kyle Schwarber
