Are tattoos a sin?

He raises some fine points that are biblically grounded and at the same time it's not what goes into the man that defiles him, it's what comes out, matt 15:11, ie, his heart, his inner being is what is renewed and made new by God. The real temple is in us, so are they a sin, or is your heart full of sin and what matters more? And then I offer to discuss what is marked on Jesus' robe and thigh upon his return, a tattoo? Revelation 19:16

I don’t care for tattoos but I do not believe they are a sin if I wanted to get one. Leviticus says a lot of things we don’t practice today.

This is dumb.

I agree with this, but those who have them are forgiven upon conversion in Christ. It’s no longer. It’s not a good idea for Christians to mess with God’s perfect canvas.

There are many Godly people with tattoos.

Look... It's plain simple and common sense.. We are not Born with tattoos, therefore we should also die without having them. God made us perfect by default, any alterations and body modifications is a sin period!!!

Over/Under this guy eats Pork?

No.. we are covered by grace.. not a set of do’s and donts not governed by any laws but by the love of God in Christ Jesus

Definitely an overreach. I don’t have tattoos, nor do I plan on getting them because I’m complete in Christ. I have noticed that once people get one tattoo, it’s like they gotta get another one and another one. They never feel complete. This is not a salvation issue though.

now do circumcision. 💀
