TEEs provide a compelling layer of hardware-enforced trust, enabling confidential transaction processing which can drastically reduce front-running and MEV exploitation. @Shade_Protocol and @SilentSwapcom built on @SecretNetwork are already leveraging TEE to redefine the DeFi ecosystem, by enabling seamless experience and protecting users by default.

Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs) can be a strong tool for preventing front-running and Miner Extractable Value (MEV) in DeFi. Since TEEs allow computations to happen securely inside a protected enclave, they help keep transaction details hidden until they’re finalized. This means bots and malicious actors can’t manipulate transaction orders for profit. So, they’re definitely useful

@valardragon @lisaisloud @zoemcfox Oh great another crypto acronym to remember "TEES". Must be a reminder that crypto entrepreneurs/devs have to always market t-shirts with their project logo on the front AND back.

@valardragon @lisaisloud @zoemcfox Not a silver bullet, but TEEs might be a step toward fairer DeFi.

TEEs aren’t a silver bullet — but they’re one of the sharpest tools we’ve got against MEV and front-running. 🔐⚔️ Dev’s take cuts through the hype: it’s not just about using TEEs, it’s about designing with them — smartly, selectively, and securely. Great convo with @lisaisloud and @zoemcfox!

@valardragon @lisaisloud @zoemcfox Love the discussion around TEEs! What about exploring other trustless solutions, like multi-party computation or homomorphic encryption, to tackle front-running and MEV?

@valardragon @lisaisloud @zoemcfox perceived cost part is very interesting, , never saw it with that anglea

@valardragon @lisaisloud @zoemcfox Front-running and MEV thrive on information asymmetry — and Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs) flip that script. With @SecretNetwork, TEEs enable encrypted transaction logic and order flow, making it impossible to exploit mempools before execution.
