"If yall shopping for groceries, & you notice the biscuits are slightly out of date... yeah... you guessed it.... It's time to get back in tha house."

I used to stay out at a cabin in Appalachia every couple months with a big hound dog I had. Normally a week at a time. I’d stop on the way and get whatever food and drinks I needed. During the day it is beautiful but at night you really do make sure you are in the house with doors locked and the blinds shut. If the dog barks ignore it. If you hear voices or scratching ignore it. It really does have a vibe that just ain’t right when it gets dark. Always have a broom outside your front door.

I live in Appalachia and I have no clue what she is talking about. If a redneck hears something he will go in his house to get a shotgun and look for the source!! 🤷♀️

Ever seen “Deliverance” or “Wrong Turn”?These movies dive deep into the world of Appalachia. Prepare for terror.

😂😂

I have been around the Appalachia mountains and there are things in that area that Spook state police and patrol officers that they won’t talk about! I lived in the backwoods of the swamps of Louisiana and it’s the same thing down there!

⛰️ The Appalachians aren’t just mountains… they’re MYSTERIOUS ⛰️ There’s a reason people say “don’t go past the tree line after dark.” From strange disappearances to unexplained sounds deep in the hollers, the Appalachians hold secrets that no GPS can save you from. It’s not just creepy — it’s legendary. #AppalachianMysteries #BackwoodsLore

Sounds like they should give nighttime tours of the Appalachians to liberals and encourage them to explore on their own and whistle loudly

if youre out in the woods and you hear a woman scream. no, you didnt. thats a panther. get your ass in the house. true story, had that happen to me out camping one night.

I don’t have a lot of respect for people drastically over emphasizing their southern accent. My sister does this. Very annoying and completely intentional. I grew up on acreage in the foothills of the Appalachians. North Georgia. I’ve hiked the Appalachian trail. The whole thing. I did most of it alone. The woods make noise because animals live there. Rabbits scream when they get killed. That sounds a bit scary in the middle of the night if it happens close. But yeah.. this superstitious stuff is bunk. Nobody is getting offed by body snatchers or windengos. Well.. probably anyway.
