If I have a Lizard and name him Jesus and then recite what that dude did you wouldn't call me a Christian. You'd say that lizard is a false Jesus. The Trinity is important.

This guy strawmans the Trinity. What Christians are really asking is do you believe Jesus is God. Because Christians believe Jesus is God.

We believe Jesus is God

Do you really believe that Jesus Christ told Joseph Smith to have sex with up to 10 virgins to "replenish the Earth" like D&C 132 says ?

Oof it’s a different Jesus. The burger guy is right. The Jesus that saved us was not the devil’s brother. Jesus is the only begotten Son of God but unlike Mormonism that says but only in flesh cause we are all sons of God.Mormonism is a lie

It’s true that many creedal Christians have developed a definition of Christian to exclude LDS But it’s not about the Trinity per se They exclude first and then look for some unifying criteria for the churches they excluded

Creepy Mormon voice. You believe god was a man EXALTED to god status and you will become a god. We are not the same. You believe Jesus, God and the Holy Spirit are 3 different distinct people. That is polytheistic and not Christian. Your calm crepey voice does not make it true it just makes your level of deception more palatable to simple minded people.

No. They need magic underwear to be saved

Mormons are not Christians. I am glad that 40% of Mormons, are leaving this false church. Christianity will survive technology. The false prophecy of Joseph Smith will not.

Mormons are a polytheistic cult

The magic underwear and handshakes aren’t in the bible. Also the whole being a god on your own planet is retarded

There's a difference between being Christian and Trinitarian. Next.

But doesn’t the LDS church think of God as a man? And that some members of the church will go on to rule planets where they will be Gods?

Plot twist: no one follows Jesus. And that’s the point.

Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints believe in the Jesus of the Bible. Not the Jesus of the creeds. If you believe the Bible, (remember Sola Scriptura?) you will rejects the creeds. Besides all that, we’ve seen him since you have.

“Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world.” Hebrews 1:1-2

I love Latter Day Saints but unless your religion has changed recently, you believe God the Father was once a man as we are now. And that Latter Day Saints can become Gods. Though you only worship one God, you believe in many gods. This is a departure from the Christian faith.

Why do Mormons ex-communicate family members for leaving the church? Why is tithing forced? Why is the temple excluded to all who want to worship? Jesus’ salvation is available to all who accept him as their Savior. Do you think John 3:16 is incorrect?

Then why do Mormons try and convert other Christians to Mormonism? 🤔

The moment that you deny that Jesus Christ is one with the Father, is the moment that you have rejected the God of the holy Bible. (God the Father; the Son; the Spirit) Christ is deity; His miraculous birth, ability to perform divine miracles, and His resurrection all proved this. To not believe the testimony of God concerning his Son, is equivalent to making God out to be a liar. Christians, ever notice why when a Mormon says “Jesus Christ” it just sounds different? That’s because the Jesus they’re talking about is according to their false profit Joseph Smith and not to the word of God, the holy Bible. To some Mormons this might sound tough, but it is tough love to tell you the truth as it may possibly save your soul from eternal damnation. Let us continue to pray for those who are deceived in the LDS movement to come to the true Church of Jesus Christ, Believers in who He IS.

I love your peaceful responses. You are very Christlike!

Mormons believe that humans and God are ontologically the same type of being - an insanely radical heresy! (@holyrebellion11 please correct me if i’m wrong!) They use the same words as Christians, but they mean VERY different things. Very sneaky of you, “latter day saints”!!

Couple things they would have to answer: Is Jesus God? Is Jesus the spirtual brother of lucifer? Is there only one God? And what dominion do you have when you die?

@grok was Joseph Smith a con man?

Why does every church think they know the exact truth of all this stuff? I think it’s impossible for anyone to know exactly all the nuances of the truth. For me being Christian means to try to live as he did. Constant claims that others arent Christians ain’t it.

“Live with him again”? We never lived with Him. There is no preexistence. He is our creator, not our brother. Just as I cannot be Mormon and deny that JS is a prophet and deny the BoM as a historical book, you cannot be Christian and deny the core doctrines of Christianity.

No you’re not Your Jesus is literally not the same Jesus Christians worship

Few “creedal” Christians don’t actually have historical knowledge and understanding of how and why The Trinity became dogma in the first place.

He says it wrong. The Mormons integrate „teachings of Jesus“. Because Mormonism is a syncretistic modern american cult. But there is no Christianity without trinity. Maybe the Christians are wrong and the Mormons are right. I don’t think so. But the Mormons are not christian.

I would simply invite you and others to #ComeAndSee as Jesus Himself invited all to do. The Book of Mormon bear witness of Jesus as a second witness to the Bible, on average every 1.8 verses. These are the closing words of the Book of Mormon prophet Nephi (2 Nephi 33:1-14) inviting all to #ComeUntoChrist that you and others can judge for themselves the extent to which Nephi, and members of the @Ch_JesusChrist believe in Jesus: 1 And now I, Nephi, cannot write all the things which were taught among my people; neither am I mighty in writing, like unto speaking; for when a man speaketh by the power of the Holy Ghost the power of the Holy Ghost carrieth it unto the hearts of the children of men. ... 4 And I know that the Lord God will consecrate my prayers for the gain of my people. And the words which I have written in weakness will be made strong unto them; for it persuadeth them to do good; it maketh known unto them of their fathers; and it speaketh of Jesus, and persuadeth them to believe in him, and to endure to the end, which is life eternal. 5 And it speaketh harshly against sin, according to the plainness of the truth; wherefore, no man will be angry at the words which I have written save he shall be of the spirit of the devil. 6 I glory in plainness; I glory in truth; I glory in my Jesus, for he hath redeemed my soul from hell. 7 I have charity for my people, and great faith in Christ that I shall meet many souls spotless at his judgment-seat. 8 I have charity for the Jew—I say Jew, because I mean them from whence I came. 9 I also have charity for the Gentiles. But behold, for none of these can I hope except they shall be reconciled unto Christ, and enter into the narrow gate, and walk in the strait path which leads to life, and continue in the path until the end of the day of probation. 10 And now, my beloved brethren, and also Jew, and all ye ends of the earth, hearken unto these words and believe in Christ; and if ye believe not in these words believe in Christ. And if ye shall believe in Christ ye will believe in these words, for they are the words of Christ, and he hath given them unto me; and they teach all men that they should do good. 11 And if they are not the words of Christ, judge ye—for Christ will show unto you, with power and great glory, that they are his words, at the last day; and you and I shall stand face to face before his bar; and ye shall know that I have been commanded of him to write these things, notwithstanding my weakness. 12 And I pray the Father in the name of Christ that many of us, if not all, may be saved in his kingdom at that great and last day. 13 And now, my beloved brethren, all those who are of the house of Israel, and all ye ends of the earth, I speak unto you as the voice of one crying from the dust: Farewell until that great day shall come. 14 And you that will not partake of the goodness of God, and respect the words of the Jews, and also my words, and the words which shall proceed forth out of the mouth of the Lamb of God, behold, I bid you an everlasting farewell, for these words shall condemn you at the last day.

What about the fact that you say that Jesus is the brother of Satan that their father was once a man who became a god and who lives on a planet kobal or Colab whatever the heck it is,who came down to have sex with Mary and impregnate her. That Mormons can become gods themselves?

If you believe Jesus you would believe Galatians 1:8

If you believe in the trinity you believe in a false god made up by men. LDS believe in the Jesus Christ of the New Testament. These are the facts, and many here on X are under the false conception that LDS people are being influenced by their "much speaking" unfortunately.

How fitting that I listened to this talk this morning.

No trinity, not Christian.
