Energy drink when abused is like taking a loan and your body will pay back with compound interest.

True. Occasional use is not the same as daily use. The body pays later with poor sleep, a faster heart, and more tiredness the next day. Rest and water still beat another can.

Aside caffeine, there are other additives in most energy drinks. Repeated use can lead to toxic build up with attendant health consequences

Energy drinks are packed with caffeine that leaches, magnesium and calcium out of the body and this two minerals synthesis the bone and teeth, well logically the bone because the teeth is just an extension of the bone in the mouth.

'Energy drink' is an illusion of gaining energy but in actual fact you are getting weaker.

That is a fair way to put it. You feel stronger for an hour, then the tiredness returns, often worse if sleep was already short.

Water is life

If that “energy” comes with a racing heart later, is it really energy or just caffeine you will have to repay?

Wow! And some people drink this stuff every single day.

Yes, daily use is the bigger issue. One can once in a while is not the same as needing it every morning to function. If the heart races or sleep is poor, that is when to stop and see a doctor.

The latter is the answer

There’s zero benefits whatsoever

This video is stupid. There are benefits to drinking these things in moderation. I'm not a fan, but this video is alarmist. For those who need the energy and wakefulness, it can be handy, but it should not be abused. Those with heart conditions should probably avoid it.

Every beverages bad af, we're only meant to feed on naturals
