This entire video dances around the concept of limits to behavior without really saying it outloud. At some point when raising children, parents must put limits on behavior and set clear expectations. This hasn't happened for almost 2 generations, and now we have problems that we can't fix.

Watching this now. Good discussion. The part of someone being "born in the wrong body" is the dogma of the ghost in the machine that Steven Pinker addressed in The Blank Slate two decades ago. You are your body. I've found it fascinating to read on the human brain and see how consciousness is an emergent property of the physical brain. The last book I read on it being Max Bennett's excellent A Brief History of Intelligence, which shows different breakthroughs of evolution from early neurons to mammalian to primate to the human brain. Having said this, I accept when my brain dies, I'll have no awareness, yet occasionally, I'll have a strong sense of sorrow because I have a desire to be cognizant of the universe and see my son and hopefully his future children in the future.
