yes look like we are not even considering greenery in any of our infra development works going on whereas it should , it must be included in every plan before execution begins

This is how India currently feels.

True, those IPL dot ball trees should be planted here

It's common among all major Indian cities that city planners somehow avoid trees every single time. Not sure if this is also some scam to make money, I won't be surprised if it is.

We are lacking application of mind.

In my opinion, yes often both planning and execution lag each other. In India, the issue is often not absence of ideas, but fragmented urban design, weak coordination, and inconsistent execution. Good architecture is not just buildings; it is systems thinking.

🚨 Countries with Strongest Building Code Enforcement 1. 🇸🇬 Singapore – Strict compliance and zero-tolerance enforcement 2. 🇯🇵 Japan – Advanced earthquake-resistant code system 3. 🇩🇪 Germany – Highly regulated structural safety standards 4. 🇨🇭 Switzerland – Precision-based construction compliance 5. 🇬🇧 United Kingdom – Strong inspection and certification model 6. 🇦🇺 Australia – Robust national building standards 7. 🇨🇦 Canada – Strict fire and safety enforcement 8. 🇺🇸 United States – Strong local + federal code checks 9. 🇰🇷 South Korea – High-rise structural compliance focus 10. 🇦🇪 UAE – Rapidly strengthened code enforcement after mega urban growth 11. 🇫🇷 France – Strong urban construction safety laws 12. 🇳🇱 Netherlands – Advanced flood-safe building regulations 13. 🇳🇴 Norway – High environmental and structural standards 14. 🇸🇪 Sweden – Sustainable and safety-focused construction rules 15. 🇩🇰 Denmark – Strong public infrastructure compliance

Who puts trees in a car parking? The roots will damage the floor as the tree expands The trunk will create hindrance in movement of vehicles given the fact that parkings have tight limited spaces for each car.

This concrete jungle creates brutal heat in summers. Mandate 30-40% green cover & shaded walkways in every major infra project. Modern stations shouldn’t feel like parking lots.

Ask the designed and IAS Officer who approved this design @ArvindKejriwal @IASassociation

Devlopment without trees is just a high-five prison I wonder who plans like this shit ....I can understand that one who approves a plan is uneducated politician, but who prepare this shit plans

The grand architecture looks impressive but struggles with day-to-day operations and long-term upkeep. • Poor maintenance & cleanliness: Once “world-class”, it now suffers from grime, litter on platforms, rubbish near tracks, and dirty washrooms/drinking areas due to inadequate upkeep and passenger habits. • Limited seating & facilities: Uncomfortable seats designed poorly; very few AC waiting lounges (only 2), pushing passengers toward paid options. • Entrance & traffic issues: Unplanned auto/taxi stands cause frequent jams and inconvenience for passengers with luggage. • Other complaints: Network issues, occasional leaks in underground areas, and reports of high costs leading to cost-cutting in services.

Too often, development focuses on speed and scale, while long-term architectural planning, livability, and resilience are treated as afterthoughts.

Architecture without ecology is just a heat trap. Looking at this, you can almost feel the heat radiating off the ground. Effective planning should prioritize pedestrian comfort which means shade, drainage, and oxygen. We need to stop building for cars/parking and start building for people."

Yes , a good infrastructure must be a blend of modern architecture and greenery.

Every year govt spends crores on tree plantation drive , everything goes into pockets of corrupt govt employees and not a single tree grows up.

It's not just about the Bhopal it's about the whole india tree are cutting fast then building the large Skyscrapers

Believe me there used to be hundreds of dense trees in and around Rani Kamalapati Station before it was re-developed. They cut all the trees and planted not a single one.

Yeahh

we pave for the car, then act shocked when people roast walking 🤡🤞

we need to rethink our priorities bro

To be honest GenZ already knows this

Landscape planning needs a revamp 🙏🌳🇮🇳

We need town planners, architects, and landscapers. Babus can't do shit . Well, I'm an architect and pretty much free these days.

"Bhopal is known for being green"

People in bhopal should stage protests , these mf Netajis are allowing trees to be cut for their "ego" and "profits" , they have lived their lives , they don't think about us , ghooskhor kahi ke .

Well in this case I would agree but you can clearly witness a modern infra as well which is really appreciable! ❤️ 🔥 Bhopal metropolitan region is rising! Next turn for bhopal junction platform 6!

Ped lgane se paisa nhi milta h … Eet jyada lgegi , cement jyada lgega to paisa jyada milega… Samjhta nhi h kya ?

Urban means no trees just buildings

What if someone plant few both side of way, is police gonna arrest?

that's not a question that's an ans, ofc we lack effective architectural planning

Can't MLAs,MPs and ministers plant some trees and make the place green?Looks like a desert. That's why people die in heat wave.

Yes, chaos is our favorite style of architectural planning nowadays

Yesterday I was in hazratganj, mf in that porch area i didn't find single tree, public toilet and not a hand pump or anything like cold water from gmvt side. These idiot upsc ❤️u memories text not aesthetic and common sence
